Introduction to Creator+ in LEARN - Online (CTE7547)

Thursday, August 29, 2024 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Location: Online

Facilitator: Natalie Chow and Daspina Fafekos

Description

This online workshop will introduce you to Creator+, a LEARN tool that is designed to amplify student engagement through the integration of interactive course content. Creator+ is a user-friendly tool that is intuitive and requires minimal technological skills. With Creator+, instructors can weave in practice exercises, interactive bits, and video recordings directly into the LEARN system, making learning more dynamic and accessible to students. During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to see a demo of Creator+ features and will gain access to a sandbox to get hands-on experience.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the features available within Creator+ to elevate the online student learning experience (applicable for in-person, blended, and online courses)

  • Generate ideas for which features would be most suitable for the context of their course

  • Gain confidence in using Creator+ independently
