Friday, March 22, 2019 — 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM EDT

Facilitator: Katherine Lithgow (Centre for Teaching Excellence) and Scott Anderson (Centre for Teaching Excellence)
Location: MC 2036

Description

This workshop is offered twice during Educational Technologies Week.

Please register for one of the following times:

Thursday March 21    9:30- 11:30
or
Friday March 22         9:30- 11:30

This session is intended for those who have participated in “Introduction to PebblePad Part 1”.

During this session, we will build on what we covered in the “Introduction to PebblePad Part 1” session.  We will begin to create pages, portfolios and templates from scratch. We will explore the different features available in PebblePad to scaffold learning, including the workbook feature, and review examples demonstrating how these features have been used. Participants will discuss how some of these features might facilitate learning in their own contexts.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to

  • Create a portfolio
  • Create a template and workbook
  • Identify features in PebblePad that could be integrated to support learning and program outcomes in programs and/or courses.
  • Identify next-steps for exploring how PebblePad might facilitate inquiry, reflection and intentional integrative learning in your program or course
