This session is intended for those who have attended CTE 7501 Introduction to PebblePad: What is PebblePad and Why Would I Use It?
To fully benefit from the synchronous session, participants are strongly encouraged to complete some pre-work in advance of the scheduled session.
During this session, we will build on what we covered in the “Introduction to PebblePad Part 1" session. We will begin to create pages, portfolios and templates from scratch. We'll explore the different features available in PebblePad to scaffold learning, including the workbook features. And we'll review examples demonstrating how these features have been used. Participants will have time to discuss how some of these features might facilitate learning in their own contexts.
By the end of this session, participants should be able to:
- Add assets to PebblePad and tag accordingly
- Explain the difference between assets and resources
- Utilize the different sharing options available in PebblePad
- Create a portfolio, a template, and a workbook
- Identify features in PebblePad that could be integrated to support learning outcomes in their program and/or course(s)
- Identify next steps for exploring how PebblePad might facilitate inquiry, reflection and intentional integrative learning in their own program or course(s)
