Evaluating Clinical Skills
At this month’s session, our guest will be Patricia Hrynchak, Clinical Professor and Teaching Fellow in the School of Optometry & Vision Science. Patricia will share the School’s experiences piloting an objective structured clinical exam (OSCE) in optometry during the Winter 2019 term. An OSCE is used to assess clinical performance and competence in a range of skills. This session is part of the Program Outcomes Assessment Learning Community – all are welcome.
Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs)
By participating in this community group, you will have an opportunity to explore:
• The role of learning outcomes within a Program
• The assessment of learning outcomes
• The relationship between outcomes, activities and assessments
Registration is required. CTE has a new registration system called GoSignMeUp. Before you can register for a workshop, you need to create an account (one time only). Once you've created an account, you can register for this workshop.
Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
