Program Outcomes Assessment Learning Community (CTE6773)

Thursday, February 11, 2021 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm EST (GMT -05:00)

Facilitators: Veronica Brown (Centre for Teaching Excellence) and Bob Sproule (School of Accounting and Finance)
Location: Online

Description

Since 2016, our community has come together to explore the assessment of program outcomes. During our time together, we have discussed a wide variety of topics, such as defining program outcomes, identifying assessments that authentically evaluate those outcomes, creating signature assessments in the program, tools and technology to support data collection and analysis, and issues around building a departmental culture that sees value in this process. At today’s session, we will spend time sharing our stories of change, and considering what our next steps might be. Our plan is to wrap up this version of our community and explore ideas for the future. We look forward to hearing your suggestions for a next community of practice related to program design, development, and assessment. Please join us for this closing session of our community!
