Withdrawing WaterlooWorks applications and interviews

You may withdraw from your applications and interviews on the Full-Cycle Service job board in WaterlooWorks if one of the following occurs:

  • You receive an offer from a previous employer
  • You arrange your own job, or
  • You receive an offer for a job on the Employer-Student Direct board.

In each of these scenarios, you must follow the appropriate steps:

If you arrange your own job:

  • follow the Arrange Own Job process, and
  • submit the form by:
    • 12 p.m. (noon) one business day before a scheduled interview,  and/or
    • 12 p.m. (noon) two business days before student rankings open.

Note: if you submit the form after this deadline, you must attend the upcoming interview and go through the rank/match process.

If you receive an offer for a job on the Employer-Student Direct board:

  • follow the Employer-Student Direct job board process, and
  • submit the form by:
    • 12 p.m. (noon) one business day before a scheduled interview, and/or
    • 12 p.m. (noon) two business days before student rankings open.

Note: if you submit the form after this deadline, you must attend the upcoming interview and go through the rank/match process.

Important: You are required to attend all interviews, regardless of their status "confirmed" or "unconfirmed." Please remember not to disclose any information about your external offer to your employers.
