If you're applying for admission with a General Educational Development certificate, your application will be reviewed on an individual basis.
Completion of the GED meets the high school diploma requirement for admission. However, if you're applying with a GED, you must also complete all required courses for the program(s) to which you have applied.
GED examination results are NOT considered equivalent to the completion of Ontario grade 12 U/M courses.
If you need to take specific grade 12 U/M courses to meet our admission requirements, you may choose from the following options that we accept for admission consideration.
- Grade 12 U/M courses through the Independent Learning Centre or your local Board of Education
- Advanced Placement (AP) courses
