International students are important part of life in the Faculty of Science. To recognize your achievements and support your learning at Waterloo, we're pleased to provide up to $1.6 million in scholarships.

- 25 scholarships – up to $40,000 ($10,000/year for up to 4 years)
- 10 scholarships – $25,000 each
- 10 scholarships – $20,000 each
- 10 scholarships – $15,000 each
Criteria
To be eligible, you must be an international (visa) student who has applied for admission to an undergraduate program in the Faculty of Science. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, the impact a scholarship will have on your studies, and what motivates you to become a scientist.
Scholarships are awarded only after a student has received an offer of admission to a Faculty of Science program.

The deadline has now passed. If you're applying for September 2024, you're still eligible for many of Waterloo's scholarships for new students.
