Request a group tour

Request a campus tour for your school or community group of 10 or more!

  • Not an official school or community group or have fewer than 10 people?
  • A minimum of two weeks notice is required. Tours are led by student staff and even with advanced notice, we may not be able to accommodate based on their academic schedules.

Once we receive your request, we'll contact you to confirm your visit details.

If your group is larger than 100 people, please email askus@uwaterloo.ca with your request.
Please list the average for the majority of the group if you're bringing students from more than one grade.
Are the students in your group international or domestic (from within Ontario/Canada)?
Would you like to speak with an international recruiter?

Tips for requesting a group tour

  • Group tours are available Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. excluding holidays.
  • Tours are available until December 8, 2026. (November 24 is the last date to request a tour.)
  • Tours are limited in December, April, and August when our student ambassadors are writing final exams.
