Mental health difficulties touch the lives of many, yet finding the right sources for help is not always easy. The University of Waterloo’s Centre for Mental Health Research (CMHR) is planning three public outreach talks that will provide clear, useful, and practical information to anyone interested in learning more about mental health. In partnership with Waterloo Public Libraries, the talks will be presented on three Sunday afternoons in February at the main library branch.
Many psychologists, philosophers, and laypeople believe that empathy is necessary for moral judgment and moral action—the only problem with empathy is that we sometimes don’t have enough of it.

You’re invited to the 3rd annual Psych Summer Pool Party!!! No, unfortunately we don’t have an actual full sized pool hidden in the depths of the PAS, but we will have water and non-water games, music, pizza, a “cold treat,” and lots of fun!
