Waterloo leisure studies ranks first in Canada three years running

The University of Waterloo continues to be the top school in Canada in hospitality and leisure management for the third consective year, according to UK firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the world's largest higher education network. QS also announced that the University ranks 32 internationally in the subject area in the 2019 World University rankings. 

“Recognition as the top-ranked Canadian university in the subject area of hospitality and leisure management continues to underscore the remarkable and inspiring work of students and faculty in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies at the University of Waterloo," said Department Chair Troy Glover. "I’m truly delighted to know our ongoing and persistent efforts to create, explore and push boundaries position us as one of the world’s top universities in our growing field of inquiry."

The Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies at Waterloo offers one of the largest and most diverse cohort of researchers in leisure sciences, inspiring students in undergraduate through doctoral programs.
