Research interests

My research focuses on the strategic management of sport systems, organizations, and events. In particular, I explore how and why sport organizations adapt to their social environments or resist change, and how sport events can be managed and leveraged to create positive social outcomes. I extend the impact of my research by partnering with organizations and contributing to the public discourse.
