The Faculty of Arts acknowledges that we live and work on the traditional territory of ‎the Attawandaron (Neutral), Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes ten kilometers on each side of the Grand River. Learn more about territorial acknowledgement.

    On July 16 Arts welcomes the incoming class of 2018 to Arts 101 Day, an important step in helping new students prepare for the transition to university this fall. 101 Days are hosted by each faculty in partnership with the Student Success Office inviting all new students along with their families to campus.
