Assessment Makerspace (CTE765)

Tuesday, August 16, 2016 10:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Location: EV1-241 Notes: Open to faculty (registration is required)

A Makerspace is a workshop with tools you can use to play with, create, build things. You can prototype assessment tools in a network of similarly- minded peers. Bring a course you've designed in our Course Design Fundamentals, or a course you've taught more than once. Choose an hour at a work desk on rubric re/design, better discussion prompts (f2f or online), multiple choice item writing/revision, or peer and group assessment techniques. Then switch, or leave with your new or changed product. We will have tools and worksheets on hand, as well as expert guidance to keep things moving.

Facilitators:  Trevor Holmes, CTE, Scott Anderson, CTE, Stephanie White, CTE, Christine Zaza, CTE
