Workshop description
As a teaching assistant, it is essential to establish a positive relationship with the course instructor. This workshop will feature a panel of faculty members who will share their perspectives on building effective working relationships with TAs. Topics will include tips for success as a TA, expectations regarding TA workload, and suggestions for how TAs and instructors can communicate before and during the term. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the panel. We will discuss various rapport-building strategies that you can adapt as both an instructor and TA.
