Description: Designing memorable lectures is a hallmark of exceptional teachers. There is significant research in the fields of psychology and neuroscience in relation to learning, memory and cognition. As educators, it seems only appropriate to use this information to design lectures and present information to promote optimal student recall. This workshop will focus on effective strategies to be used in lecture design to promote long-term memory. Come prepared to share effective strategies you've used in teaching or have experienced as a student.
