CUT Interactive Teaching Activities (CTE165)

Wednesday, January 21, 2015 10:30 am - 12:00 pm EST (GMT -05:00)

Location: EV1-241

Description:  While many of us want to include more interactive techniques in our teaching, we are often unsure of what types of activities to use and how to implement them to best facilitate student learning. This workshop will focus on helping participants find new ways of integrating interactive teaching activities in their lectures, labs and/or tutorials. A variety of interactive activities will be discussed in this workshop and we will explore which types of activities will work best in your classroom, based on your learning goals. The workshop itself will also be highly interactive as you will have the chance to practice some of the learning activities presented as we explore issues such as how to choose, plan, troubleshoot, and evaluate the techniques.

Facilitator: Stephanie Chesser, CTE

Notes:
