Grading Student Papers (CTE227)

Description: Do you find it difficult to mark consistently? Have you ever wondered how you can reduce the time you spend marking? This workshop is for you! We will discuss tips for marking and commenting on student papers in both STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and non-STEM fields (i.e., Applied Health Sciences, Arts, Environment). Participants will learn strategies for ensuring consistency, increasing efficiency, and writing comments. Participants will also practice marking sample reports and essays and gain feedback from others.

Notes:
  • Participants will receive an attendance credit if they arrive on time and stay until the end of the event.
