Online Delivery Skills: Synchronous Teaching (CTE1266)

Workshop description

This interactive workshop will provide teaching assistants with the techniques and confidence to effectively deliver an engaging lesson when teaching synchronous (live) online sessions. You'll have the opportunity to practice your online teaching skills and learn tips and tools for engaging your students throughout the lesson. This session will be particularly helpful in preparing you for online microteaching sessions in the Fundamentals of University Teaching program.

 

Workshop delivery

This is a live session that will take place in Webex Meetings. The link to the Webex Meetings session will be sent to you by email in your registration confirmation email, with a reminder sent the morning of the session date.

This workshop has limited enrolment spots and often has a waiting list. If you have registered but can't complete the module, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
