Description: Outcomes. Aims. Objectives. Goals. Indicators. Metrics. At our May session, one of the key questions raised was about terminology. Are outcomes and objectives the same thing? What's an indicator and how does it differ from a metric? At this session, we'll focus on developing a common language by defining these and other key terms associated with outcomes-based assessment.
Session Outcomes: By participating in this community group, you will have an opportunity to explore:
• the role of learning outcomes within a Program;
• the assessment of learning outcomes; and
• the relationship between outcomes, activities and assessments.
