TA Course Instructor Relations (CTE247)

Abstract:

As a teaching assistant, it is essential to establish a positive relationship with the course instructor. In this workshop we will explore different perspectives on building effective working relationships between TAs and Instructors. Topics will include tips for success as a TA, expectations regarding TA workload, and suggestions for how TAs and instructors can communicate before and during the term. We will discuss as a group different strategies you can employ as both an instructor and TA to build effective relationships.
