Using the Grades Tool in LEARN (CTE6668)

Description

This 1.5 hour session will focus on working with the weighted grading system in the LEARN Grades tool and associated items, including:

  • creating an appropriate gradebook structure, including the use of categories
  • linking Quizzes/Dropboxes/Discussions to grade items and transferring grades between them
  • entering grades manually by users, groups, or grade items
  • deleting grade items
  • calculated final versus adjusted final grades
  • optimal Grades tool settings
  • importing and exporting grades, including transferring marks to Quest

Registration required (if this is your first time using GoSignMeUp, you will need to set up your account first). If you have changed roles at the University (e.g., graduate student to faculty) please updateyour "Participant Profile" in your GoSignMeUp account.

Cancellations

Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
