VoiceThread describes itself as “a media presentation tool with a built-in interactive discussion space.” This discussion space utilizes text, voice, and video capability with the potential to increase both student and instructor presence online. Come to this session to learn about how VoiceThread was used at the University of Waterloo in both online and on-campus courses this past year. You will hear directly from the instructors that used the tool, how they used it, and their results.
After the session, participants will be able to:
- understand how to use VoiceThread effectively
- assess how VoiceThread might fit into your teaching
- Open to faculty and staff.
- Registration is required.
