During your recruiting term, you have many options available to help you navigate your job search. Here are some of the recent changes that you should be aware of:
- Updated our student support model so all co-op students have a co-op advisor who will support them throughout their co-op career at Waterloo, including their job search and co-op work terms. Co-op advisors are aligned with faculties and know about academic programs, skill sets and co-op journeys to help you succeed.
- Updated the names of our existing job boards to better reflect the types of jobs.
- Added the co-op Employer-Student Direct job board.
- Updated the Request to Withdraw Application process.
- Updated the academic and thematic clusters on WaterlooWorks.
- Updated the "For My Program" filter in WaterlooWorks to provide a more accurate list of jobs for your program based on clusters the employer has applied to the role.
As a co-op student, it is important that you thoroughly review the co-op student roles and responsibilities to understand the expectations of you as a student. We know searching for jobs can be challenging, so there are many options available for you to access while searching for a co-op job.
