Declaring the Psychology Major

First Year students who want to declare their major as Psychology (BA or BSc) for Fall 2018, please note that we will host two Major Info Sessions during the Winter 2018 term.

Winter 2018 Major Info Sessions:

Tuesday, February 27th in AL 116 from 11:30AM to 1:00PM 

Wednesday, February 28th in AL 113 from 10:30AM to 11:30AM

​Added incentive: Pizza and refreshments will be provided!

Already been admitted to the PSYCH major?

We will be hosting a Welcome Event for those admitted to the Psychology major in Winter, Spring, and Fall 2018 during the Fall 2018 term. Time and date are TBD.

Admission decisions for the Psychology applicants:

You will receive an email from the Psychology Undergraduate advisor notifying you if you were accepted into the Psychology program. Be sure to include your UWaterloo email address on the PSYCH online application web form and on your online Arts Declare Your Major Form (for first-year Arts students) or Plan Modification form (for first-year Science students and all upper year students).

We will continue to consider applications for the Psychology Major from current UWaterloo students until the second week of classes for any term.
