PART Anti-racism book club

Register to join the next PART Anti-racism Book Club facilitated by Professor Frankie Condon from English Language and Literature, who will be joined by Professor Vershawn Young (aka dr. vay), of Communication Arts and English Language and Literature. They'll be discussing Dr. Young's book, Your Average Nigga: Performing Race, Literacy, and Masculinity. The conversation promises to be riveting as Condon and Young delve into the book’s controversial title and its provocative argument.

Inaugural Lecture in the Study of Palestine at UWaterloo Series

The Faculty of Arts is pleased to invite members of the campus community and beyond to the Inaugural Lecture in the Study of Palestine. This special event features distinguished guest speaker, Dr. Reem Bahdi, Dean of Windsor Law, the first Palestinian law professor in Canada and the first Palestinian law dean in North America.

The Faculty of Arts is pleased to share that we have a new Teaching Fellow, Dr. George Lamont of the Department of English Language and Literature. Lamont is highly regarded for his teaching and holds numerous awards including the 2020 Arts Award for Excellence in Teaching. He joins the other five faculty Teaching Fellows who support excellent teaching within their faculties and also collaborate on a  number of impactful university-wide projects.
