Curriculum
The Academic Exchange Experience program will require students to take four courses for a total of twelve academic credits. These classes will be taught by University of Florida professors either on campus or online.
The following is a list of required courses. For full descriptions, visit the UF program website.
- Food and Beverage Introduction (Summer - 3 credits)
- Theme Park and Attraction Management (Summer - 3 credits)
- Lodging Operations and Management (Fall – 3 credits)

Internship in Leisure Services (Fall – 3 credits)
Transfer credits
You will receive 2.5 units (5 courses) of transfer credits once you've successfully completed the program. The following courses will be applied to your transcript:
- REC 312 - 0.5 units (Internship in Leisure Services)
- REC 2XX* - 2.0 units
*This is a miscellaneous REC credit that can be used toward your REC electives.
