Part of the ongoing Unsettling Conversationsteaching and learning sessions, students in ARTS 130, an Arts First pilot course, present their poster projects in Dana Porter Library, Thursday April 5, all day. The students' posters incorporate their research on decolonization and Indigenous resistance from the course "Reconciliation, Resistance, Resurgence." From 10:00 to 11:00 AM students will be present to talk about their work.

Come out and connect one-on-one with Arts Alumni! Ask questions about life after university, job searching, and networking. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Doug Peers, Dean of Arts, invites faculty, staff and students to an Arts-specific consultation meeting on October 2 for the University’s Bridge to 2020 strategic planning process. This is an important opportunity to speak about particular Faculty-level perspectives and issues that should be addressed in the 2020-25 University Strategic Plan. The meeting will be facilitated by Dean Peers, President Feridun Hamdullahpur and Jim Rush, Provost.

This first in our fall Interdisciplinary Mashup series will focus on disability, specifically disability and digital accessibility at school and in the workplace.

The Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business presents Professor Linda Carson on why communication can make or break interdisciplinary  teams. You'll walk away with team building tools that you can implement in the workplace or through your academic experiences.
