Need some guidance on which courses to choose in your 2nd year? The information on this page will help you if you're in Arts and Business (Regular or Co-op) and going into your 2A term in Fall 2026. If you are an Honours Arts student (Regular or Co-op) follow the course advice on the course requirements chart.
Each section is designed to show you the five courses you should add to your schedule for the next two academic terms. In some cases, additional course suggestions have been provided for your 3A term as well. The Schedule of Classes will list courses offered but will not be updated until mid-April.
If you intend to complete a minor during your academic career, once you have successfully completed one or two courses in the minor course requirements, submit a plan modification form with approvals from your advisors to add the minor to your plan. This is important since courses are often reserved for students in a major or minor, and you risk not being enrolled in your required courses when you need them. Please speak to the applicable minor advisor if you have questions about this.
