If you're a female student coming in to one of our Engineering programs this fall, you're invited to this special event!
This event is hosted by our Women in Engineering (WiE) committee and is an invitation-only event for all women who have been accepted into Waterloo Engineering programs, along with your parents/supporters. It directly follows the You @ Waterloo Day activities on the same day.
Dr. Pearl Sullivan, Dean of Engineering, Registrar's Office, Engineering Alumni Affairs, and Office of Development and Alumni Affairs are pleased to invite you and your guests to an informal complimentary post-convocation reception at the Student Life Centre in the Great Hall to celebrate your milestone achievement!
Join us as the students from the Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre at the University of Waterloo present new and emerging technologies during a public Innovation Showcase.
Interested in an academic career?
Attend the Women in Engineering Academic Career Path Event. There will be presentations by the Centre for Career Action and the Centre for Teaching Excellence. Plus, a question and answer session with these groups and engineering professors.
Lunch will be served.

Women in Engineering (WiE) welcomes all new women undergraduate and graduate students, and faculty members to the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo on Saturday, September 14, 2013.
Network with Shell Canada’s Campus Ambassador Program team (comprised of Engineers and Recruiters) and discover career pathways open to you at Shell Canada.
This event is also an opportunity for students to learn more about Shell Canada’s investment in Waterloo Engineering that includes support for a variety of student activities including: the Student Activity Fund, Design Symposium Awards in Chemical and Mechanical Engineering and the Women in Engineering conference on October 5, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
