Join Dr. Paul Fieguth, Chair of the Department of Systems Design Engineering, for an educational wine tasting at the SOCIAL Restaurant + Lounge to network and get a brief update about the Faculty of Engineering and the newest changes on campus. Experience delectable Canadian free-style cuisine paired to fine wine in a sumptuous and warm atmosphere of the restaurant and lounge located within a beautiful heritage building in the Byward Market in downtown Ottawa. The event features a wine flight paired to delicious local food and SOCIAL's knowledgeable sommelier will walk guests through the wine tasting to complete the experience.
You will have the opportunity to meet Waterloo Engineering alumni, faculty, co-op students, friends and special guests at this reception.
The cost of the event includes all food, wine for the tasting, and host bar so you can then enjoy a glass of your favourite wine from the tasting. If you do not drink alcohol or wine, please feel free to join us as non-alcoholic drinks will also be provided.
Due to the nature of this event, you and your guest(s) must be 19 or older to attend.
