Admissions Information

Review the list of application requirements of your program on the GSPA Academic Calendar.  Determine how long it will take you to gather the necessary information, and ensure you can get details in on time.

​All documents must be uploaded online through the application portal. ​

​ Understand the types of admission ​

​A complete application consists of: ​

  1.  ​Transcripts ​
    -If you have international credentials, see the guide for equivalences. ​
  2. References (at least one academic) ​

  3. Supplementary Information Form ​

  1. Resume (a CV is also acceptable) ​

  1. Proof of English Language Proficiency (ELP) if you are an international student or you completed your degree outside Canada. ​

  1. Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) if applicable.  


Find a Supervisor

*Only if you are applying for research-based programs*​

Start looking into research opportunities which are of interest to you and potential supervisors.​

​Remember, you don't need a supervisor to apply, but you do need one to be accepted.


Apply

Now, it’s time to apply! Follow the instructions to apply online through the portal to submit all necessary documents and information before the intake deadline. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Engineering Application Deadlines

  • Intake September/ Fall – Apply by Feb 1st  of the same year.
  • Intake January/ Winter – Apply by June 1st of the previous year.
  • Intake May/ Spring – Apply by Oct 1st  of the previous year.


Conrad School Application Deadlines

MBET: Intake September/Fall- Apply by June 1st  of the same year.
PhD: Intake September/Fall- Apply by Feb 1st  of the same year.
Gdip:

  • Intake September/Fall – Apply by June 1st of the same year.
  • Intake January/Winter- Apply by Oct 1st of the previous year.
  • Intake May/Spring – Apply by Feb 1st of the same year.

Note: Conrad has alternative application deadlines, as well as the Online MMSc MoT program.
