With the term drawing to a close, I wanted to share my personal experiences working as a co-op student experience associate for Co-operative Education (CE). I had the chance to develop my decision-making and problem-solving skills while gaining deeper knowledge about the ins-and-outs of CE during my time here.
How do you get the interview? The one for that job you’ve been dreaming of for so long? One way is to attend Employer Information Sessions (EIS) hosted throughout the term. Attending EIS allows you to set yourself apart from everyone else vying for the same job.

Emily Pass, a student of physics and astronomy in Waterloo’s Faculty of Science, was just named Canada’s 2017 Co-op Student of the Year by Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada. She also won the Education at Work Ontario (EWO) Co-op Student of the Year award, Ontario’s top prize.
