Jeff Casello and Duane Cronin have been chosen as recipients of the University of Waterloo's 2013 Distinguished Teacher Awards.
Casello, who is both a professor of civil and environmental engineering and the Faculty of Environment’s School of Planning, is an innovative educator who effectively implements creative teaching approaches.
Cronin, a mechanical and mechatronics engineering professor, is dedicated to the advancement of engineering education. A key supporter in the development of the Student Design Centre, Cronin's goal in the classroom is to ensure his students receive excellent learning experiences.
Both engineering professors will be presented with their awards at spring convocation to be held in June.
