Waterloo Engineering alumnus, Alfred Lam (BASc 2003, Chemical), Vice President at Chrysalix Energy Venture Capital, will emcee the event and is kindly co-hosting this event with Waterloo Engineering. Wal van Lierop, President and CEO at Chrysalix Energy Venture Capital, will deliver a short talk, title to be announced. The University of Waterloo is working with Chrysalix, as their Canadian partner institution, to help identify pressing industry problems and market needs that breakthrough robotic solutions could solve.
This event is complimentary but registration is required due to limited space; food and drinks are included. Glowbal is located in Vancouver's newest architectural landmark, the TELUS Garden building, and is accessible by public transit.
