The 44th annual Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race (GNCTR) is being held at the University of Waterloo. The UW Concrete Toboggan team has been working tirelessly to design and build the most innovative concrete toboggan ever!!! We would love to show everyone all the hard work and effort that has gone into making this toboggan and have your support on race day!
GNCTR is open to the public for the following events:
January 26 Technical Exhibit Day: Each team will set up a technical display, incorporating their toboggan in a way that matches their selected theme. This is a great opportunity to see all competing teams' toboggans and ask engineering students how they were designed and constructed.

January 27 Race Day: There will be three styles of races: Drag Race, Slalom, and King of the Hill. Please come out and cheer on the UW Mighty Geese as we take on toboggans from all over Canada and the United States to see who will be crowned the champion of GNCTR 2018!!!!
