Vancouver Alumni Chapter: "The Mistakes that Made Us"

Wednesday, March 8, 2023 6:00 pm - Wednesday, March 8, 2023 9:00 pm PST (GMT -08:00)
Pacific Centre Building

Everyone makes mistakes, but most of us don't like to talk about them. Join us in the heart of Vancouver at the Microsoft Centre of Excellence to hear fellow alumni turn some of their biggest blunders into talking points.

The Vancouver Alumni Chapter is excited to host "The Mistakes that Made Us," an event where three fellow alumni will share how their past errors paved the way for their current successes. You’ll hear from Ian MacKinnon (BMath ’06, MMath ’08), Founder and CTO of Later.com and Gloria Eid (BA ’11), Life Leadership Coach at Gloria Eid Creative, in a conversation moderated by Matt Manuel (BASC ’93), Principal PM Manager at Microsoft.

Together, our speakers will share valuable insights into twists and turns along their paths to success, including the importance of owning your mistakes, failing forward, the workplace cultures that foster learning and more. Spots are limited! Register for your $15 ticket to hear how to turn our mistakes into victories.
