All Mechatronics Engineering alumni are invited to the Waterloo Engineering alumni event TronCon to connect with mechatronics engineering current students as well as fellow mechatronics classmates.
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet the rest of the Tron family while you view demos of cool technology projects from current 4th year mechatronics students and hear amazing stories from a selection of speakers - see the full agenda - including immersive design and entrepreneurship advocate professor Sanjeev Bedi, and alumni from several companies such as Applied Brain Research, Avidbots and Pegasus Aeronautics. Various companies will be attending to hire talent and 4th year students will have their projects on display.
Professor Mihaela Vlasea (BASc '08, Mechatronics) and Fayez Khan (BASc '08, Mechatronics) are kindly hosting the event.
View the full agenda on the registration page - it's a full day of discovery. Registration and complimentary breakfast begin at 9:00 a.m (generously provided by the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering).
Registration is free but limited – register online for the event.
Also, you can connect to fellow Trons by joining the UW TRONS Facebook Group.
