Professor Susan Tighe of Waterloo Engineering shared her expertise on potholes and other road-related subjects in a recent television interview on The Agenda with Steve Paikin on TVO.
Tighe, a professor of civil and environment engineering who has been director of the Centre for Pavement and Transportation Technology at the University of Waterloo since 2010, fielded questions from Paikin during a 17-minute segment that was shot in the studio.
The interview covered ground from the freeze-thaw cycles that take such a toll on our roads in winter, to the Professor Pothole nickname Tighe has picked up through her work.
