As a child, Isaac found his passion for astronomy by looking at the brightest stars in the night sky. Today, Isaac is a recipient of the Co-op Student of the Year Award for his work at the Herzberg Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Centre (HAA) in the National Research Council Canada (NRC).

Dhruvi Shah (she/her) is a fourth-year Science and Business student at the University of Waterloo. She recently finished an 8-month internship at Microsoft Canada from January to August 2022.

How many co-op work terms have you done and where have you done them?

Introduction

For the past four years, I've been a student at the University of Waterloo studying in the Science and Business co-op program, specializing in Biochemistry. Being from B.C. - one of the reasons why I chose to fly across the country to attend Waterloo was because of the co-op program.
