Spectrum 28 Student Venture Program Information Session

Launching in June 2016, Waterloo Engineering has partnered with Spectrum 28, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm, to establish a student venture program for engineering undergraduate and graduate students who are seeking ideas or have an idea for an entrepreneurial venture and need cash, mentoring and resources to make it happen.

$2 Million in funding available to student ventures
There is $2 million in venture capital equity funding available from Spectrum 28, as well as the opportunity to gain foundational entrepreneurial skills. Waterloo Engineering will offer pop up classes on campus aimed at team building and problem identification, which may lead to startup ideas, as well as overall program support.
