UWAFT Talks is an industry and networking event joined by industry leader, FleetCarma (a division of GeoTab), for a discussion on the emerging areas of automotive technology and sustainability, the diverse automotive ecosystem that exists here in Waterloo, and opportunities for local students to gain job and volunteer experience in this exciting and innovative industry!

Here we will collaboratively engage in a sharing circle modeled from indigenous practices and guided by a trained facilitator. Come hold some space with us. Space is limited! The competition invites teams of up to 4 students to choose an important industry problem, and thoroughly research its history, scope, and impact, before pitching the findings to a panel of judges on November 14th to compete for a share of up to $30,000 in funding.
