Meet Jose Montoya Cabrera!
Hi! My name is Jose Montoya Cabrera, I am in my 2B term of Management Engineering. During my free time, I like binge-watching Netflix and going for walks. I am the current VP Student Life of EngSoc!
What is student life like at Waterloo? How has it changed online?
Student life looks different for everybody. Personally, I am somehow who enjoys getting involved and meeting new people, so you'll almost always find me attending an event or studying in groups somewhere on campus. During the recent online terms, I have taken more of an organizing role for said events (as First Year Commissioner and now VPSL), but I still try to stay connected by reaching out to my friends for remote study sessions, boba runs, or just chilling on a call on Discord.
