Waterloo Engineering alum Linda Li (BASc ‘15 and MASc ‘19, civil and environmental engineering) was honoured for her work in STEM at the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year Awards.
The event awarded Li in recognition of her contributions to her profession and the community.
Li, an environmental engineer and associate with Dillon Consulting, supports Canadian and international clients on complex and multidisciplinary projects in the areas of water, energy and climate change.
In addition to her work, Li continuously strives to foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity within STEM. She also volunteers with several engineering and water associations, both locally and internationally.
Li was one of five women from the University community to win an award at this year’s event. The Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest has recognized the achievements of local women with the Rogers Women of the Year Awards for almost 50 years.
