Using a speed-dating format, mechanical and mechatronics fourth-year students will present their design projects to Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) students on September 23. MBET students will then invest their talents in selected projects by developing technology deployment business models as part of the requirements for Entrepreneurial Applications of Technology, a course taught by Conrad Centre Professor Margaret Dalziel.
With the support of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering professors Behrad Khamesee and Sanjeev Bedi, Dalziel has spearheaded this initiative to provide a collaborative experiential learning opportunity for entrepreneurial Waterloo students.
The event that takes place September 23 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Conrad Centre is open to anyone interested in hearing about innovative ideas being developed by Waterloo Engineering students. [event details]
