New associate dean, undergraduate studies appointed

Dr. Jason Grove has been selected as the new associate dean, undergraduate studies for the University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Engineering.

Grove, who will take over from outgoing associate dean, undergraduate studies Dr. Daniel Davison, will begin a four-year term on Jan. 1.

Dr. Jason Grove is the new associate dean, undergraduate studies for the University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Engineering.

A faculty member in chemical engineering, Grove currently serves as the associate chair, undergraduate studies. In this role, he leads the continuous program assessment improvement process for the chemical and nanotechnology engineering programs.

The appointment was announced by Dean Mary Wells, who thanked Davison for his “thoughtful and steady leadership” as associate dean over the past four years.
