Dr. Milad Kamkar, who joined Waterloo Engineering last year, is the 2023 recipient of the Early Career Award from the Polymer Processing Society (PPS), which recognizes the creativity, innovation and productivity of early career researchers in polymer processing.
Dr. Milad Kamkar is the 2023 recipient of the Polymer Processing Society's Early Career Award.
Kamkar has made significant contributions to understanding the nano- and micro-structural features of polymeric systems via advanced linear and nonlinear rheological techniques. His current research focuses on synthesizing and additive manufacturing sustainable and advanced materials.
He will be honoured at the PPU’s annual international conference in the spring.
