Tribute to engineering faculty, staff and students

I am delighted that Waterloo Engineering has been ranked the top engineering school in Canada for 2016 by the US News World Report “Best Global Universities” ranking,” said Pearl Sullivan, dean of engineering.

“This is a tribute to the ingenuity, excellence and dedication of our faculty members, research staff, and graduate and undergraduate students who work to realize their ideas and publish them in the top research journals.”

Waterloo’s computer science program was also ranked the top in Canada by the U.S. News & World Report, an American media company that publishes news, opinion, consumer advice, rankings, and analysis.

The methodology for ranking is based on global and regional research reputation, publications, citations and international collaboration.

Globally, Waterloo Engineering ranked 47th.
