Engineering students and alumni are invited to participate in an exclusive virtual Office Hour with engineering alumnus Paul-Michael Dekker (BASc '80), Professional Networker, Futurist, Systems Design Engineer and Entrepreneur!
During this Office Hour, join fellow University of Waterloo engineering alumni, students and referred guests for this virtual event to get advice/upgrades on your professional networking skills, grow your network by seeing/hearing about other people and their specialties, ask questions and get advice, and get to know Paul-Michael Dekker and some of the people, resources and tools he has experienced since 1980, while working on both local and global projects.
This week's Office Hour also features guest speaker Vineeth Patil (MSci '20) is a recent graduate from Waterloo Engineering with a Masters of Management Sciences degree. While at the University, Vineeth’s passion for problem-solving and achieving social impact led him to establish 180 Degrees Consulting Waterloo. They provide management consulting services to non-profits and social enterprises and through this, they were able to make an impact on communities in the Kitchener Waterloo Region and across North America by working with organizations such as Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation, Canadian Mental Health Association, and Venture for America, to name a few. Vineeth has a bachelor’s degree in Information Science from India and worked for 3 years as a Software Engineer at Tesco developing their warehouse management system before joining the University of Waterloo.
