Join us at the Round Table with Jasmine Shaw. The Round Table with WiE Leaders is a series of monthly roundtable discussions which provide networking and mentorship forum for graduate and undergraduate students. At the Round Table, we hope to connect you to WiE leaders in academia, industry and government. Listen to their stories and be inspired to overcome and succeed.

For February 2022, we are honored to have Jasmine Shaw, an aerospace engineer and the Technical Project Manager at Solace to speak on "Creating Space for the Change You Envision"  by sharing her story. This virtual event will hold on Thursday, February 24th, 5:00-6:00 pm (EST).

Speaker's Profile:

Jasmine Shaw is a professional engineer, entrepreneur, and change-maker. She has 5+ years experience in systems engineering and project management across aerospace and tech. Her journey to transform the engineering brand began nearly 10 years ago during her undergraduate degree at Carleton University, where she implemented a local youth outreach program. Since then, she has started her own business that helps women in STEM achieve their full career potential. As a passionate community builder, Jasmine mentors young women through Carleton University and Technovation; previously served on the Board of Directors of the Society of Women Engineers - Ottawa; created a national ecosystem of STEM organizations; and founded the Ontario Sick Day Relief Project, which raised over $65,000 in paid sick days for Ontario’s essential workers through the third wave of COVID-19.
